About Jingle Bao

Asian restaurant serving dim sum and other popular eats in an informal setting.

Jingle Bao is a chinese restaurant in Fresno, California. It is listed at 110 E Bullard Ave, Fresno, CA 93710, which places it among the local businesses of Fresno that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–2:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Jingle Bao at (559) 570-3884; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 321 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese restaurant in Fresno and suggests consistent service.

Fresno is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Fresno is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We were there at opening time for dinner and there was probably 20 parties already in line. Plan to get there early if you wanna make sure you get a quick seat. Everything came out quickly. I'd recommend the fried menu and ramen. Large portions so great for large parties.

Very nice, authentic Chinese restaurant. The dumplings are very very good. There are unique items on the menu I haven’t seen anywhere else locally that were very good. Overall it was a very good experience and I highly recommend.

It’s delicious, with very attentive service throughout. The beef fried rice is also excellent. The drinks are well done, and I especially appreciated being able to ask for a lower level of sweetness. The summer drink and the passion fruit drink were perfect alongside the dumplings and xiao long bao. The chocolate xiao long bao really hit the spot as a sweet finish to the meal. Overall, the food tastes authentic, and the presentation is thoughtful and appealing. The only downside is the music. It’s a bit too loud, and the hip-hop playlist seems to cater to a specific crowd. I understand if the music is meant to soften or mask the noise from other patrons, but the bass could definitely be turned down. This was our second visit. The first time, we waited almost an hour for a table for a party of eight. This time, we arrived right at opening and were seated immediately.

How amazing is it to have a restaurant like this in Fresno!! This was our first time trying the place. We came in on a Sunday afternoon, waited 20 min for a seat which was not bad. The lady who took our order was very nice and helpful. Afterwards, food came in so quick probably every 5 min. Everything was hot and delicious. Our table sat in silence just eating and enjoying the food πŸ˜†. Afterwards the lady brought us these chocolate dumplings that really hit the spot. You must order those!! I recommend everything thats pictured. Can’t wait to go back :)
